Energy Company
AC to DC
Overview
I joined the project while new features were still shipping. The platform helped dealerships bundle EV chargers with vehicle purchases, but it was fragmented, inaccessible, and inconsistent. I pushed for a full redesign that improved usability, efficiency, and long-term scalability.

Facing
The Challenge
The original design lacked a component system, poor accessibility, inconsistent patterns, and no alignment with the company's global design system, complicating use and development. Due to lack of process, part of my task became introducing a clearer Azure DevOps workflow to help dev teams collaborate with business and implement improvements faster through code-aware design and clearer specifications.
This meant I had to work on two tracks. This shifted focus from isolated screens to long-term product quality, revealing inconsistent interactions, duplicated layouts, weak information hierarchy, and accessibility issues that increased user effort and development complexity.
Sustainable
Outcome & Reflection
The redesign introduced reusable components, clearer layouts, and stronger alignment with the company's global design system. It simplified navigation and helped teams ship improvements with a clearer shared direction.
